In 2004 Certigarve was formed by young graduates in order to provide services in the areas of Telecommunications Certification and preparation of specialties projects, applying thus the academic knowledge gained by the partners in their courses - Electrical Engineer and Electronics and Eng. and Computer Systems.
Due to the large demands of the market, and later that year, the company began to devote itseld also to Special Installations. This activity made the company develop very quickly and what began as a company of only four workers at the time, at the end of 2008, reached to more than 60 employees.
Due to the positive results the company's share capital has been increased annually, and in 2004 of only €5,000.00, and currently of € 263,000.00.
The initial target market began as the Algarve region (Portugal), but quickly expanded to the whole of mainland Portugal. Since 2009, the company invests in new markets, currently in international development, particularly for Algeria, Angola, Brazil and Mozambique.
Certigarve is continuously focusing on improving its skills, particularly in terms of Development, Human Resources, Technology, Innovation and Research.
Currently, it has a flexible structure, with a wide range of services. Hence it provides a variety of integrated services, it's a great advantage as it satisfies the several needs of its customers.
It is a reference Company in the various business areas, always using hand-skilled workers, and has in its employees the image of competence recognized by both customers and the competitors themselves.

The Certigarve company is divided into two business areas: Special Facilities and Engineering Projects. Special Facilities range from low and medium voltage power grids, generators, capacitor banks, telecommunications, refrigeration, air conditioning, air conditioning, water and sewage, sprinklers, solar panels among others.
The Certigarve company has a department of energy and environment, which offers solutions in the Energy Services. Among other services highlights is the Energy Audits, Rationalization Plans of Energy and Energy Performance Contracts.
More recently Certigarve opened an R & D department (Research and Development), which is developing hardware and software solutions using inter-connected smart objects with the IP protocol.
These products have many applications since its use in smart energy networks (SmartGrids), to the environment and medicine.
The Management System of Quality CERTIGARVE has been implemented since June 2011.
